Bowl picks baby!! No disclaimer needed now, you should all no how bad I am at picking these games. I will say I’m better at this than the BigTen is at naming – well – anything. Leaders and Legends? Really? Wow! So bad, so so so bad! And 18 post season Bigten football awards, that’s right 18 and all named after two football coaches or players. In the spirit of xmas, they used players/coaches from the past (univ of Chicago) and the future (Nebraska). Coach of the year, Champ game MVP, Coach of the yr, and off/def player of year awards are fine, but do we need the leadership, humanitarian, freshman, off line, def line, qb, db, lb, wr, te, kicker, and punter of the year award? Come on; second how linebacker of the year is not named after a penn st (lineback U) or Ohis St (the real linebacker U, look at the names)? Oh and qb or year is named after guys from Purdue? Take that Brady! For those of you that count here is a list of how schools are represented by number of guys honored:
Osu – 5
Mich – 4
Wisc – 4
Msu – 3
Psu – 3
Purdue
Ill – 3
Minn – 3
Iowa – 2
N’west – 2
Ind – 2
Neb – 1
Univ of Chicago – 1
So bucks are on top at least, but I’d argue could be more, how’s Iowa feel being with Ind and the purple gang. I could go on, but I need to move on before I get to the eyesore that is the new logo.
Hold on to your whale tales ladies, this is already long and is going to get much longer. Make sure you have the time and an empty bladder (that’s for you Steve) I’m pulling no punches for this season finally.
Note a * next to pick means I picked the other team in my office bracket.
New “you won’t do the job whitey so stop complaining” Mexico – BYU wins, what can I say I love Mormons, you gotta give credit to a group of people that make multiple sexual partners seem painful, odd, and unappealing.
uDrove Humanitarian Bowl – I didn’t F with that name, they actually have sponsorship for a humanitarian bowl! Even if you have never heard of uDrove. Fresno st wins, congrats Fresno and n ill your present is a trip to Idaho, hows that feel?
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s St Petersburg Bowl – Someone stole my thunder or is just F-ing with me, the bowl name has beef and Brady in the name and is in Petersburg? What did Richardsville already have the Arby’s special sauce bowl? * S. Miss wins maybe?
MAACO Las Vegas bowl – I got nothing on this Boise st wins, duh, enjoy your but wooping Utah, ‘visualize and attack’ Bobby!!!
S.D. County ‘does California have any left?’ Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl Navy wins!! I’m a navy guy from a navy family! Go Navy!
Sheraton Hawaii bowl – Hawaii, duh. Tulsa will win the eye bugging out of our heads game.
Pizza Pizza smoke a bowl and it still tastes like shit Bowl - * Fla International wins, and Toledo is so excited to travel all the way to Detroit! Seriously do they actually go a week before for festivities? Or do they just go the morning of the game?
AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl – I think we gave our independence away to the satanic advertising people decades ago, should call this the make sure you hold down those brown people, I need a new Ipad Bowl! To political? Anyway, Gtech wins the battle of the triple option.
Champs Sports bowl - * Nc state wins, this could be one of the better bowl games between 2 schools from conferences that need to be combined into one decent conference.
Insight ‘I’ve got Glaucoma’ Bowl – Missouri pounds the all 2 of our rb’s transferred and the other is injured, and our wr is going to Leavenworth, and our def line just is trying to stay healthy for the draft, how does Kirk Ferentz have multiple B10 coach of the year awards and tress has zero F-ing Joke-eyes from Iowa! Seriously what a F-ing joke!
Military Bowl presented by Northrop ‘we make lots of stuff to kill’ Grumman bowl- *Maryland wins, ecu pulls lots of bowl upsets traditionally, but so does Jabba’s boys.
Texas Bowl - * The Zooker wins to save his job, both these teams screwed me all year so I split on them. Nothing to joke about on the Texas bowl, simple name, they use death penalty a lot, love you Texas!
Valero ‘f u Valero I’m a 7/11 guy’ Alamo bowl - * zona wins, I going def in one poll and off in the other, this should be a good game, who will make the last stand? Heheheh
Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl (at least Obama hasn’t cut funding for naming rights on bowl games yet?) Smu wins, told you I’m a Navy guy, oh and army deff bad bad bad against pass and Smu passes a lot!
New Era Pinstripe Bowl – More shit in Yankee stadium, nothing like a crap bowl game where a beer will cost you a month’s car payment on a Kia. I’ll say Kst wins, soft butter!
Franklin American Martgage Music City ‘tarp’ bowl – Nc wins, and tenn is just happy for the free gift bag with all the shower luffa’s to help clean themselves.
Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl – yes I agree you can clearly see walking around that education has been on a holiday for awhile; glad it finally has a bowl game to celebrate. Nebraska wins
Meineke Car Care bowl – I hate you Clemson, you will win. Hope the south never rises again, did you see how your peeps act in Borat? Nice!
Hyundai Sun Bowl – Stop I can’t take it, the Korean car company is sponsoring the bowl with two programs that have been acting as if they are run by Kim Jong Ill for years. As long as someone feeds the Ethiopian QB from Miami and el paso has no wind storms for the irish it will be a good experience for all, look for ND to finally get off the bowl schnide.
AutoZone Liberty bowl – uhhhhhh, liberty bowl, bad memories, happy thoughts happy thoughts, ok I’m better. Uga wins, who cares.
Chick-fil-A ‘ponchot’ bowl - * S. car wins, should be a great game.
Ticketcity bowl, to bad Persa is hurt, N’west would roll with him, but will loose without
Outback ‘ can you speak up? I can’t hear you?’ bowl – Fla beats Penn st so bad and Joe pa doesn’t care because the game is over before dinner at 3pm!
Capital One Bowl – Bama wins big and the big fraud starts to feel some pressure for well having another bad bowl season.
Gator bowl – Michigan wins, and richrod says ‘you raise me up….’ D rob is scary good, I predict next yr if richrod returns he well pretty much same as this yr cause he is small and will get injured and that def will still be bad.
Rose bowl Game presented by Walmart tv’s, how offensive is that, second rate sponser for a second rate game. Wisconsin, says thanks for coming TCU, no you don’t belong.
Tostitos Fiesta bowl – Okla wins, finally getting up for a lesser opponent and not laying an egg and no one cares, way to go Boomer.
Discover Orange bowl- Stan wins in the you better get him while you can bowl. I’ll be happy if you don’t, but you know you should t.u.n.
Allstate ‘do you sell SEC insurance’ Sugar bowl - * Bucks win, but I’m not confident and split my pick, hope they use time well like last year and T.P. plays well.
For those of you that will crush the bucks if we lose and bang on tress some facts for you:
First and foremost 9-1 Nuff said bite me!!

Godaddy.com bowl – * mid tenn st wins – nice to have something to do on jan 6th while killing thy liver. Seriously this should be called the your still in the running for the money bowl, or you need an intervention bowl.

Tostitos BCS championship game – This has been paid for already, Cam and the tigers win and celebrate for about 4 yrs till it is vacated. “My dad does more behind the scenes than people can know” Cause you won’t tell us and don’t want us to know! Score 55-45 in a fun game, don’t miss it, both offenses are good!
So there you have it, another great year see ya in the fall for more college football. And for you few loyal followers see you next time I have something stupid to rant about. Anybody else tired, I am, I need a dark chocolate kiss! That sounded gay, I meant the purple little treats on my coworker’s desk, shit that was gay to! Oh well, I just want some sugar, damn!

Ohh, what a morning, thank 'evolution?' for Pearl Jam
I’m not even close to going hungry, maybe my mouth is to decadent? Maybe I’ve listened to too much PJ radio today? NEVER! Maybe having my head about bitten off today and not reacting was my good deed today? Maybe I deserved to have my head bitten off for not coming up with a more gentle way to say this is going to suck, but we have to do it? Maybe, ebyam? Maybe I’ll have something better to say later? Possibly I’ll never really have anything better too say or maybe I’m not really saying anything? Are these just ‘footsteps’? If I did anything it was because of you…. Problem is you is me (in the song). Trippy huh? If my wishlist was known, it would say I’d just like to say something profound, even if only profound to one other person. The best things you read or hear or see are the things that make you still and quiet, even if for only a moment. They say I will force you to think about this; rather you can comprehend it or use it or need it; you will stop and think. Sometimes those change you and then you change right back. Sometimes they change you and you are never the same, disfigured. If a person lost 100 lbs and got in marathon shape they have been disfigured, the figure they took before is not what they are now – disfigured. Words can have such great power, but often because we imply power to them thru context or circumstance. Bet most would not consider disfigured a positive word. Maybe it isn’t and my use (definition) is wrong? Who knows? Please don’t say him! We don’t talk, the lines of communication are fuzzy for us. Maybe he’ll tell me later, when it can’t do me any good.
I want to buy Hanukkah stamps to mail our chritmas cards! I won’t because I love my wife and her not wanting to kill me. It would be funny, but some jokes are not worth what it does to the people whose heads it would fly over.

wk 14 the final wk picks boooo
So the last week is upon us, I’m still done (been done since about wk 3) but all is well cause the bucks had another great season (any season that has a W by the last game is a great season) even if a National title is not in the picture. As for the other games last week, well move over Zoltan, I have a new favorite kicker – the Boise kid! Thank you for missing those Extra points, um I mean field goals! Now we will either have an Oregon and Auburn game or a complete F-ing mess with possibilities of Tcu/Wisc or Stan/Oreg Nat Champ or who knows? Probably will go normal this weekend and the BCS will be saved major embarrassment again. Glad we don’t have a playoff, ehh who would watch a first round match up between the buckeyes and say Oklahoma? Or a Boise St v Stanford game? Stupid playoff, what a horrible idea, I mean these kids need their school time to focus on academics, that’s whey TCU is moving to the big east! Nothing says short travel for sports like a Dallas school in the big east! On to my final picks of the season, man this goes so much faster than NASCAR.
10 – Trojans win, sadly earlier there was a glimmer of hope for the bruins to get over finally, but sadly (like herpes) it was just a momentary clean day before another break out of bad! Still, Trojan v bruin is all about the cameramen getting the W!
9 – Va tech wins, F-ing lost to a 1-aa school and then saved your season and go on to win the conference?! That’s one way to go and better than the other way. For the other way, see team up north record since No teeth St jobbed them on their own field. Not the way you want to go!
8 – Fr st wins, Hey Illinois - scheduling a non conference game for after the regular season – ehh ok – but do it last week when no one will pay attention. Now you are only big ten team playing this weekend and you are going to get “Pauly Shore’d” like a new blond fresh off the greyhound bus from ‘I guess I’ll try anal for you, Nebraska’. Well after that usually comes a new ‘career’ and a Heroin addiction, enjoy!
7 – Zona wins, The Pac 10 should quit rivalry week and just have a cheer off, that would be must see TV. Do they print the diplomas at these schools on Thongs and D cups?
6 – Wash wins; there is still always some A-hole with a giant wazzu flag at college game day no matter where they go! You had 2 ok seasons like 7 years ago and the rest of the time are dog bleep. Go away!
5 – S. Car wins, don’t ever ever ever give the ole ball coach 2 shots to beat you! Gary should get his wish and see - “what would be the worst team since BYU beat a 6-5 Michigan to win a national championship”- loose and not annoy him more.
4 – Oreg wins, thought I might pick the beavers at home with the upset till I saw them get scalped by Stanford. Come on people are you with me? That’s a scalped beaver reference from a game where they played the big long wood tree team? I’m giving you this humor for free! Ehh, I guess I’ll be appreciated when I’m dead like a 12th century composer.
3 – Okla wins; boomer sooner looked good against the cowboys and seeing as how Nebraska doesn’t know if they will play a QB or 2 Rb’s and one of them can throw. Also, the ref’s are going to be so bought and paid for it won’t be funny. Mark my words; the Big 12 does NOT want Nebraska taking the title on its way out the door.
2 – Uconn wins, Hey TCU you see that, its all the free money and trophies you can win by taking your decent football program to a conference pretending to have good football programs. Oh yeah, but you might score 3 pts a game in basketball. Sacrifices, guess we know where they money is in college athletics. Sorry title 9, equality only comes thru green backs and the law of supply and demand is not subject to Frenchy hats and chants.
1 – Smu wins, “Hey Doc, where the F did you fly this delorian to?” Smu? I thought they got the death penalty, must have been the 30 yr comma penalty? It’s only fitting that Smu comes back the same year the NFL is going to have a thousand yard white Rb (in Cleveland to boot). If any of you high school kids can kick straight on with your toe or like to tackle with clothes line forearms, then I’d get ready for the NFL cause apparently concussions cause fricking time travel. I don’t care if it cost me my life, the last thing I would ever do if I time traveled would be to help my future Dad get busy with my future Mom! Now I’d travel way back and get my great great great great great…… grandpa to give a little wink at some of the royal family members, see if we could redirect our lineage to that gravy train, talk about a Cush gig! Of course then I’d have to get my mom not to date an Arab business men or at least stay out of his limo! Too far? I do that, sorry, Smu brings out my evil side.
Good season and Good luck to Justin and Bill this weekend.

Bakers Dozen plus......
The last thirteen plus months have been quite amazing. First and foremost I got married and had a wonderful wedding and party thanks to my wife and all her hard work. Then on Jan first of 2010 we began the year with a Rose bowl Victory which would kickoff one of the great concert, sporting, and travel years of my life. I was able to enjoy these moments with my wife, my friends, and our families.
In the spring Callie and I traveled down to visit her best friend in Tennessee while her then fiancĂ© (now husband) was in Iraq. The three of us went to Talladega for my first dega race and it lived up to the hype! Also, I was able to check of Georgia and Alabama on my states I’ve driven in map (go ahead and laugh I’d like to drive in all 50). Also, we drove thru some of the most amazing fog in southeast Tennessee in the early morning in Appalachia land. It’s always a great time in Tennessee with our friends and happy to say next time we get down there, we will all be together as chuey returned safely from serving in Iraq, which is probably the best news we all shared this year.
I was also able to go see the best band and live performers in the world this spring, Pearl Jam for those unaware. It was the third time I’ve seen them and as good as always! If you have a chance you should check them out.
Later in the summer I was fortunate to go to the Brickyard 400 at Indy and see one of the better races they’ve had there in a while.
This fall took Callie to see Jason Mraz, one of our favorite musicians. He is a great singer-songwriter; I’d say our generations Van Morrison – one cool cat! Also worth every penny if he’s in your area check him out.
Went to a Browns v Bengals game in Cleveland with my bro-in-law and his friend from NY and witnessed (yes I’m not making the next part up) the Browns win!! Over the bungals! It was truly a great day and there are great stories (too many to share) from this trip and maybe, hopefully a budding tradition for years to come. (Also, bill was able to go to the spring Bristol race and got some great memories and pics from that trip)
Finally, around are first anniversary Callie and I went on a honeymoon to Las Vegas. This trip was a double dip because it is where our Tennessee fam was celebrating their newlywed status and a family birthday. A large, fun, gambling crowd ‘tearing up’ Vegas! Well at least having lots of fun in a safe mature way. Callie and I did sneak away and went to Red rock National Park, Hoover Dam, and Lake Mead. Some great pictures there and in Vegas; a very special vacation with great memories and people.
And then there was football season…..
I was unbelievabley fortunate to see 3 buckeye football games live and in person! First, my California buckeye representative was able to travel back to see the bucks go 70 plus in the shoe (the 3rd time I’ve seen that happen). Hopefully it won’t be as long till we can get a chance to get Steve back to buckeye land for another live game. Second, Bill came thru with sweeeeeeet tickets for the Indiana game (so Callie and I got to come along) and the buckeyes laid another beat down! Third (“and most especially” as tress would say) I was able to go to “the” game with my longtime best friend Justin. He took me as a birthday/xmas gift that I will have to figure out some way of repaying. It was a great way to cap an unreal 10 yrs of winning. 9-1 against team up north, others can say it has lost this or that blah blah blah, bullshit. Its awesome, won’t last forever and I’ve been on the other side, so shut the F up, enjoy it and hold the memories because (hopefully not soon) it will turn and the rivalry always will be and is the best in sports. Period!
So that is a short (or short as I could make it) rambling ADD look at on of the most fortunate sporting, traveling, doing years of my life. Maybe my perspective or appreciation is just better for the things I’m fortunate to do? If so, it is because of my wife and family and age finally giving me some wisdom (even if it is a case of a little going a long way). Better late than never, right?
Truth be told, I’d give all the sports (yes even the buckeyes), concerts, travel up for no Cancer, divorce, job loss, illness, stress, regret, missed opportunities, infertility, and any other of the daily tribulations I/we all go thru. Of course that’s why we give thanks on thanksgiving and enjoy our hobbies and distractions so much, because we can’t get rid of the bad. We can battle it, we can over come it, we can make the best of it and we can survive it. So I choose to remember these positive things today, be thankful for them and for all the people in my life that makes them possible and enjoy them with me. If I didn’t have the people I do in my life to share these with they wouldn’t make great memories. I hope everyone can take a second to stop and reflect on the good in their year, use it to keep you positive and get thru the bad.
Funny thing is I usually consider myself a pessimist or glass half empty guy, maybe I’m growing? Hope so because I’m blessed. Not sure if I always deserve it, but I know I try and I learn and that works for me. Shit I make it to 70 and I’m gonna be one sappy old man. My dad is doing a lot of public speaking (well might I add) and I prayed before 2 meals this weekend, anything is possible. Go Bucks!!

wk 13 picks
So, its rivalry week, lots of great games to pick and a stupid wac match up! Anyway, the buckeyes survived a road trip where TP still had TP moments and the WR had the dropsy’s! Hard to believe, better come out this week and play well. T.U.N may have worst defense in their history, but also might have best offense they’ve ever had. Robinson should be getting more hype for Heisman; it is more impressive that he’s put up numbers he has (1500 plus rushing and passing) on a team with no defense. Opponents normally facing such a bad defense can be safer, trying not to give up the big play and knowing they just need to slow offense down – not completely stop it. Robinson has had big play after big play anyway and he’s missed parts of a lot of games. So breaking the QB rushing record with a game to play and being the first QB ever with 1500/1500 (not even Timmy Christ did it) is sick impressive. My hope and feeling is like much of T.U.N. losses, the buckeyes will score often and get enough stops to win comfortably. Scary thing is the one thing you don’t want to see in a big underdog (especially in a rivalry game) is a great offense, because it gives a ‘punchers’ chance. The bucks will need to play turnover free and win on special teams (another place where fighting richrods are inexplicably bad). One last bit of paranoia to get off my chest, I will be in the shoe for my third live viewing of the best rivalry in sports. I am 1-1 with my first game being ‘the slip’ in the shoe – a devastating loss. The second time was at the big house for Troy’s second win of his 3 victories as a starter and the sounding board for the following years Heisman run. I’m hoping that the curse was truly with coop and I will be 2-0 seeing it live under Tress and not 0-2 seeing it at the shoe. Wish me luck! Go Bucks!
On to this weeks picks, or as I like to call them “opposite Jared picks”!
10 pts – A&M wins, hey all you Tressel ball haters: Can it be frustrating at times? Yes Should you ever ever bitch? No Why? See down years of team up north, fsu, usc, okla, nebr, Miami, and now Tejas. I mean they are in serious danger of no bowl game, which proves down falls can happen to anyone (even if you’re in a week conference like the big 12 or big new 12). Appreciate tressel ball, it’s been really really good to you.
9 pts – bama wins, well Saban will do it again and give us the Oregon v Boise St championship game that will polarize college football into those that love it and those that hate it. Unless (and hopefully) Cam can clinch the Heisman with a great performance.
8 pts – Boise wins, please please please Nevada pulls the upset, and you won’t, but please prove me wrong.
7 pts – PSU wins, I’m picking this cause sparty is sparty and this is what bucky badger needs to guarantee a rose bowl bid when they demolish n’western sat, so it will happen. Kind of hoping the one good thing that would come from a Boise st nat champ game vs Oregon would be a Stanford v Wisconsin Rosebowl, so badger fans can find out; a) how bad Scott Tolzien really is against a good defense (that doesn’t lay an egg like the bucks did) and b) what it will be like for them if richrod gets canned and Harbum takes over.
6 pts – Ok st wins, finally their year and they got boomer sooner at home, don’t get it done now and it will never ever happen. Better buck up cowboys.
5 pts – Oregon wins, I know zona has a good stoops defense, but ducks are at home and should score/win big. Only concern is are they looking past zona and thinking about beavers. Nothing good ever comes of thinking about tomorrows beaver when you need to tame today’s wild cat!! Does the pac10 have the best nicknames or what? You can have some cougar, beaver, wildcats, all while smoking a little tree and never have to worry about disease because you just wear a Trojan and enjoy your dance with the sun devil! Even for a man that’s a little husky, or (next yr) built like a buffalo, you just bruin up, ride that bear and make her quack like a duck!
4 pts – Ark wins, less miles will never run out of trick plays, odd moments, and dumb luck, but if you have a good QB and he plays well you can beat LSU with solid play. Don’t and he will pull some craziness out his arse and have you saying “how the hell did we loose that game?”
3 pts – Mustache wins, looks like he has the best of the worst, bet the Fiesta bowl is stoked about the possible Okst/neb vs pitt match up?! Ooooo sounds fun.
2 pts – Buckeyes win, everything says bucks should win number 7 in a row and 9 or 10 easy, except for one thing…… It’s still the best rivalry in sports and anything truly can happen. I literally can not emphasize how bad I want this one to cap off a great decade that I desperately needed after the 90’s! If things go south, I’ll be devastated, mad, irate, spewing irrational, mean, despicable things that I don’t really mean (well at least not all of them) and then I’ll probably cry, get depressed and then head home to what really matters (my family) and spend time with my wife and our family and friends and get some perspective that keeps me from taking that last step of the cliff. Or I’ll get arrested at the game and hope they come bail me out! Let’s hope we just have the safe thing and get the W! Go Bucks!
1 pts – FSU wins, well I think finally maybe the original bad boys of the sunshine state can regain some glory in this rivalry and get a W, but the gators have the jail talent lately and are quite capable of saying we have the biggest check book right now and our money and criminals will kick your butt. Urban is still one tough warden and his inmates want their extra slice of bread next week and 2 hrs of outside time a day.
Good luck to Justin and Bill trying to make a comeback on Jared, may he falter and you get 55 (assuming you picked the bucks, if not may you get 9 out of 10 right)!

An open letter to ESPN
Over the years the ‘worldwide leader’ has done many wonderful things for sports entertainment and television. They have always been on the forefront of what’s next and what can improve the fan experience. The internet has been and will continue to be the future of television. ESPN, keeping with their traditions, is surging forward with Espn3.com (formerly espn360.com) and access to games from TV, PC, phone, Ipad etc etc etc… GREAT!! So what could be wrong with this, for starters forcing it on cable and satellite providers and fans before technology is ready. Also, doing it at the expense of quality, quality you ask? Yes quality, like quality producers, editors, writers, and directors. In the last two weeks, I personally have been affected by this lack of quality control and/or common sense broadcasting from ESPN.
Incident 1: The World Series of Poker November 9
The boom of poker can be attributed to the likes of guys like fossil man or the original moneymaker, and yes even the worldwide leader. The coverage of all things WSOP and hype machine that is ESPN has brought poker way into the mainstream. They typically do a great job of condensing thousands of hands into the best action or best story lines and then add new excitement like last year adding the thrill of a final suspenseful night. “The November 9”, pause the action in the spring when it gets down to the final table of the main event and then bring them back in November for a live online final or a tape delayed and edited final 2 hours of great poker! How can you screw that up? Maybe by not understanding DVR (tivo for those of you still going old school)! That’s right ESPN, people have lives, jobs, families and DVR is the true technology break through that has changed how people think about and use television. People are responsible for understanding how DVR has limitations for live sports or even shows that follow live sports (i.e. Sunday night programming during football season), but for a taped event touted as 2hr primetime must see tv from 10 to Midnight (that did start on time at 10) should be easily able to run in the allotted time. Not cutting off as the river card (last card for non poker people) of the final hand for the WSOP main event bracelet! Now as bad as this was, I knew who won and didn’t need to see him celebrate, but come on – it’s just pathetic for a multi billion dollar company to have Snafu’s of this nature.
Incident 2: #4 Ohio State at #9 Florida basketball
So the beginning of the game was not available because the game before ran over, but that is not ESPN’s fault and the start of the game was available on the non HD channel in Ohio and Florida and supposedly on espn3.com. Well first, let that information be known before tip off not right at tip off; secondly, espn3.com was a definite no go for connection to watch the game. You could watch the end of the other game on espn3.com, that worked, but it was on ESPNHD, so why would you need to? Anyway, that was just the beginning; the real problem was the end of the game. After the past two national spotlight games in which the gators have ‘gotten over’ on the bucks it was nice to see our returning players and young freshman go down to Gainesville and put a whooping on the gators. It would have been even better to see the last minute and maybe an interview with winning coach Thad Matta, but NOOOO. We got switched to GIRLS basketball! That’s right, you heard me, the half empty stadium of #1 Uconn vs. #2 Baylor WOMENS basketball (and this ‘game’ was already airing espn2)! Call me any name you want for my non evolved, title 9 hating Neanderthal self, but that is ridiculous! You have lost it ESPN, I’d rather you just go back to ESPN plus where the local affiliates can pay to pick up the buckeye games. You suck! You are no longer ‘cooler than the other side of the pillow’ you now are misguided and out of focus like the other ‘lazier’ eye! You need to go back back back to quality production, directing, and editing. Entirely stupid pointless network, you should change your name to MMSN, Money Money Sports Network.

Week 12 picks
So week 12 is here and it’s about a four man race for the championship this year, surprise I’m not one of those four! Jeckel and Hyde bucks again Saturday, our best player is also our worst player which is scary. Hope we get good T.P. for last two games, not teams we want to fall behind and play catch up against. Maybe we can see boom get 400 plus yds in the last 2 games, that’d be awesome! Browns still have a way to go and need more talent, but again showed they are heading in the right direction. First thing they need is better (non Clemson, thanks for the fumble stuckey!) WR’s and then some depth on defense and maybe a qb or maybe we have on, hard to tell. Big Big early game for Thad and the fella’s in Gator land, I think they are special, will no after tonight, or at least have a better idea if they can be. On to the picks…
10 – Wisc, They are going to win out and I think we will win out, but sparty will chode in happy valley and the badgers will head to rosebowl and bucks will go to sugar bowl. Hope richrods can win and give bucks shot at outright bigten title, but not sure defense has any chance at shutting down bucky badgers so will have to out score them. If richrod’s do, up the anxiety a notch for ‘the game’, yay!
9 – Ncstate wins, I still miss Joe Pesci as the head coach of the wolfpack, that was always a good interview.
8 – Vatech wins, helping boise a little more, please Oregon and Auburn win out, please!
7 – Okla wins, F Baylor stance still in effect
6 – ark wins, Hey there qb is best and worst player on their team too, think he will show up big?
5 – Trojans win, sad to say, but they are still good and will win.
4 – A&M wins, aggies turning it on late in the year and looking good.
3 – FSU wins, ehh I’m probably stupid on this pick, but just have a feeling.
2 – Bucks win, I think we will show up and play well, hopefully. Will need a whole game, not just a half. Go Bucks!
1 – N’west wins, Just when ya think zooker has it going he gags at mich and minn in back to back games! Wow, and losing to n’west without there best player will get him fired. If n’west had Persa they’d win by 40!
So there you have it, maybe I’ll have a good week before end just for my pride, even if it’s not for the crown.

Friar F-ing Tebow is number 1?
In a big giant horseshit ball of things that annoy me about the NFL, Religion (or more acurately some religious people), and the bearded savior him self - Tim Tebow's bronco jersey is number 1 best selling jersey in the NFL. Way to go racist, christian right America! You've proven your love for the back up QB of the 2 and 6 bronco's! Because he fits some poster boy, bad 80's movie, 'you're damn right Jesus rules' t-shirt idea of what a QB is supposed to be, do, say? What happen to the America where hard work and talent rose to the top? I guess affirmative action and the backlash to it helped, also a scary theocaritic political movement of late, and maybe a secret left handers movement? If Tom Brady were black a large portion of this country would talk about how he was just along for the ride and not really that good (or if they did say something nice it be about how "well spoken" he is... code for he doesn't sound like the rest of them). It's not that I wanna see Tebow get busted with a bag of meth and a half dead hooker because I hate him, it is just the I have this idea (wrong as I probably am) that some highly respected member of 'that' society will get busted and wake up the masses to the rampent hypocracy around and they will stop annointing the next great moral leader. I know, i'm a dreamer, blame John Lennon. I shouldn't be surprised that people who don't believe in evolution can't understand that we are (% of time wise) very very close to a time when a man/caveman/earlyman just clubbed the woman he wanted and took her back to his cave (and forget about 'her needs'). Hell out side of the US and western europe and parts of Australia we are way closer than peeps want to know. Wow, all that from a tebow jersey sales update, what is wrong with me (or others if you agree with me).

Week 11 picks
So week 11, not going to win, but still having a blast picking the games and poking fun at the powers that be and other stuff. Now some are upset with the picks or more accurately the lack of some picks for this week’s game, noticeably the auburn v uga game and the Oregon v Cal game. In fact for posterity one person (Gary) said he guarantee’s Auburn will lose to Uga and is “a joke” that the Buckeyes would beat by 21! Now I think Auburn’s def is bad, but they are special on offense and I think they will beat uga, I’m more concerned that upset Cal will show up at home strong and knock of the ducks. I hope neither happens and I’m pulling for a duck vs. war eagle Nat champ game (assuming bucks don’t get a ton of help and fall into it, which won’t happen). As for how the buckeyes would fair, I’m still convinced we can play with anyone in the country, but sadly don’t have the ‘special’ leadership needed from our no 2 to do it week in and week out. Anyway, still pulling for a great season for the bucks if they can take care of business and win out – time for some picks.
10 – Nev wins, an example of a game that could be dropped for the afore mentioned games, but hey there is a west coast aspect in the picks that us east coasters must deal with and I have no problem with that.
9 – Okla wins, clearly not as good as hyped in the preseason, but still good and at home verse no defense tech.
8 – Bama wins, might be upset alert if not for the beast being angered by already being beat twice this year, hard to imagine saban dropping 3 games before their rivalry game.
7 – Va tech wins, picking this because I want them to loose and hurt Boise St, which probably won’t happen. Come on you cheaters in Tar Heel land, man up and defend your home stadium with some pride!
6 – Ga tech wins, another game in the crap shoot ACC that I want to go opposite of my pick, we need some help in the strength of schedule and the canes are not helping, thanks.
5 – UCF wins, another game could have been moved for a bigger match up, I honestly know nothing about this game other than I think George O’liar is coach at ucf? Ehh, go fighting Culpeppers!
4 – A&M wins, F Baylor and all their we are finally here bs, I’ve been burned picking you for the last time this year. Go aggies!
3 – Zona wins, who doesn’t wanna see the Trojans loose as much as possible?
2 – Nwest wins, still reeling from how they’ve blown lead after lead this year, maybe they get over finally this week. Also, another game that can hurt buckeyes by lowering the strength of schedule of our upcoming opponents.
1 – Cuse wins, ok I’ve always had a soft spot for both these teams (my aunt went to the state univ of NJ and I loved when McNabb and Harrison played for a good cuse) but seriously this is the game that should have been dumped. Really is anyone going to watch this? I know cuse is better and Rutgers is ok (not as good as a few years ago when coach should have jumped ship for a better/more traditional program) but wow, hard to imagine the people still at the top of picks could swing on this match up! Wow!
So for this week Go Bucks beat Penn st and NC A&T (bball is back baby and we got some talent baby!!) Go browns, 3 in a row verse top talent? And we got over on the broncos in a trade? What next? Cubs World Series? A black Serial Killer? A functional Government program? Open minded hillbillies? Stop the madness!! Also, Go happy Harvick in Phoenix, trying to keep it in the family for a third straight year! Oh wait one more, the 88 team in victory lane? No that’s taking things to far…..

is there a devil?
Last night not much on tv, so I watched The Devil's Advocate (one of Pacino's most underappreciated movies), one of my favorite movies. I realized that I love a lot of movies about the devil and the battle between good and evil. The curious thing is i'm, well I don't know what the word is, but lets call it 'undecided'. So if I doubt the existence of one involved supreme power of good then it reasons the same would go for a single force of evil, right? Maybe I just am drawn to the struggle between right and wrong which translates better in stories/movies thru god vs devil? I think my darker side would have been a more destructive force in my life if not for my parents. Who knows? Anyway, there are many great 'devil' movies out there to check out like devil's advocate, 9th gate, devil wears prada-lol, oh god you devil, an incovient truth (gore is devil? lol), etc etc etc....

some things/thoughts
I have been less than motivated to post lately and busy, living. Not sure what has got in to the browns lately, but it's AWESOME and i'm just going to enjoy it and hope it continues!! Maybe we have the Real McCoy!! Read/reading a couple of great books lately, read A year of living Biblically over vacation and i'm reading the last George Carlin book right now, both great/funny reads with deep moments. I love reading (more than writing cause there are way better writers than me around) but don't find/make enough time for more reading. Hopeing/looking forward to getting/reading the BaBa Boey book, and maybe the Jim Bruer or Greg Fitzimonds books.
Had a good time at (not as good as my wife, but good) at the Haloween party where we first met. It's funny to me that I never ever searched for what I have and yet I was lucky enough to have it find me. Wonder why that happens when I see things I see in the world. There are 5 situations that I can't/won't talk in detail about that make me: a) very thankful for where things are in my life, b) wonder how others got where they are, c) why people behave/react the way they do, and d) would I have seen it, done it, or acted it? Guess that's why life is the best classroom, because you can always ask 'what would I have done?' The only thing I know to do is be the best friend I can be, offer advice when asked or an ear to listen if not asked. I don't pray, but whatever you wanna call it, I hope for people to have better luck or continued luck with the things they are going thru and for others to have better judgement/behavior and appreciate what they do have.
On a lighter note, the bucks bball had a scrimmage sunday and play their first regular game fri and though it is early, I am way stoked for this season. The freshman class seems possible of living up to the expectations and gelling well with the returning upper class (whom looked to have continued their growth). Football begins again (after a bye week) sat and hope for another strong nov finish and B10 (11,12....) Championship and hopefully BCS game. We will see, most important is beating T.U.N. whom still has no defense, but WOW what an offense!
Holiday season is starting, good luck to everyone! Wish I didn't know anyone to donate to, but feel good this season that my family is doing very little gift giving (aside from my nephew) and are choosing to donate what we can afford to help people who really have a need. In all my sillyness and fanatisism i've always had a good base that football and sports are a release/escape from real life. The older I get and the more that happens, i'd happily give up all these hobies if it meant eliminating the reasons why we need to escape. ".... but words will never hurt me." they might not hurt, but what they mean/represent scare the f-ing shit out of me. Anyway, i'll be thankful for my health and hopeful for good health on the horizon for others not so fortunate.
so there are some ramblings from my mind, if they are hard to follow and jump all over the place, sorry but imagine having those bounce around your head and trying to keep them in order. I'm amazed I can walk and talk at the same time! lol

I'm suffering from PHCD (post hair cut depression) today
Have the ipod rocking (PJ Seattle last show 2000) and being sans rocker hair is bumming me out today. It was my choice and the rest of the week it was nice, but need some head banging on a friday. Oh well, the tunes are still awesome. If I may go old man for a second..... the problem with (most) new music is a lack of confindence/power/assuredness/definition? Not sure the best word, but I can describe it.....
Great rock (or any music) grabs you and throws you against the wall and says 'i'm going this way and if your with me grab a life jacket, comfy shoes, and your after sex smoke - this is going to be intense"....
Today's music kind of says, "um excuse me sir, i'll be over hear in the elevator playing nice and soft not really bothering anyone, if you want to check me out i'd really appreciate it"....
NO F-ing Balls!!
I'm gonna Lukin!! Faster Master!!
I miss you hair, i'm sure you'll be back for the next tour!! "Restless soul enjoy your youth"

apparently that doesn't work
Sorry, but for some reason the video makes me go microman whilst the audio stays normal before being cut off because the video us 'fin'. The only video camera we have is on wifes apple and when I watched it back on that laptop it was fine, but after hearing that there might be issues I watched on my windows laptop and es no mui bueno! Not sure why that is, but I may try and figure out or just say F it and continue going 'old school'. Gotta love technology.

i don't believe anymore day....
When I was a kid my dad wouldn't answer questions about our heritage when I had to do the "where did you come from" paper in school. He would say over and over "your American" when I ask "what am I". It was partly funny, partly a good lesson to take pride in my country and partly a lesson in looking forward not backward. Possibly it was a way to not answer, "we F'd our way thru all of Europe and some other parts of the world and therefore your a mutt", but who knows? My mother is a very civic minded person who instilled in me a great love and believe in the importance of being heard and voting. I have always voted and when I was younger I was staunchly republican. I say most people trend more liberal when young and get more conservative as they age and get more to lose (family, job, etc). I (as usual) do things backwards and the older I get the more liberal I get or more accurately the more angry I get towards not having a party that I believe in. I don't believe I'm getting more liberal or conservative, just more doubtful in the purpose or power of the individual vote. In theory the power of the individual is great, but if all the options are different shades of the same color - don't we lose that power? I fear so, liberal big government is still the worst to me (see the b.s. train we might get from gov ted if he is reelected- a new bridge to nowhere waste of money project), but the republican party is less and less about true government down size agenda's. Instead they are becoming the Theocracy party, ironically using people's fear of Islam and fundamentalist jihadist to garner votes when if you look at a social behavior check list they kind of go hand in hand. The christian right just uses long dresses and heavy cheap walmart makeup and/or bonnets/glasses etc etc instead of a Hydra (Muslim head scarf you see women where). Seriously, homophobia-check, prolife-check, media sensorship-check, integration of religion and politics-check, proguns and capital punishment-check (although I'm fine with guns and cap punishment). Mainly (aside from Jesus vs Mohamed) their big difference is on how to handle the Jews (as if they are animals?and need handled), christians take a more tolerate and let them be stance, believing fully they will pay by burning in hell for not believing; where as Muslims perspective trends to a more 'Germany circa 1939-45' goal. Now, duh, not all Christians or Muslims feel this way (maybe even a small minority do but the are a driven/vocal minority), but what is the saying? only female cockroaches bite? (if you can't tell the difference the exterminator just gets rid of all of them). Something like that, anyway I feel like a man without a party and I didn't vote this morning and right now don't feel like I will tonight, thus incurring the wrath of my mother (scary). Maybe someday a real revolution will begin and I can get behind it and not the F-ing tea party. The 'hey republicans aren't far enough right for us' people? How come most of the 'don't tread on me' bumper stickers I see are on 50k dollar on up vehicles? Vomit.
We need true FISCAL conservatism. Small government spending wisely with smart regulations that allow free markets to work while monitoring large corporations for abuse (you know before they go Lehman brothers or Enron) and little social intervention. I don't want to see anyone making out on the streets (gay, straight, bi whatever) but if you wanna go back to your crib and throw your tongue up a tranny's bunghole more power to you, leave me out of it. Shit these commercials are getting to me, I'd vote for Eva Braun, sorry I mean Mrs Palin if she promised to put a end to all political commercials! They are driving me nuts! I just want to watch the Charlie Sheens weekly biography called Two and a half Men on CBS without being annoyed! Well, sorry about that rant or if I offend anyone, if your in the 5% of people who didn't cast your ballot 5 weeks ago via mail (sure that won't lead to any voter fraud?! not) and are going to vote today, hope that you have a short line. Vote for Charlie Brown, he couldn't let us down!

"The less I seek my source for some definitive the closer I am to fine"
When we ask why are we asking for the truth or a definitive? I think often my problims are from looking for a definitive, believing in a definitive and assuming others are of a certain definitive. I/we could desperately benefit from acceptance of more gray in our lives. Black and White, wrong and right, the definitives falsely comfort our minds, but darken our souls. I'm a major violator - when i'm strong, good, whom I want to be - I am caring, open minded, and striving for new experiences. When i'm scared, angry, weak - whom I hate - I close my mind and heart, often shouting or spewing vulgarity and judgement: A living political add with as little help and purpose. Four years ago you turned off my gravity and helped me let go. There are and always will be heavier days where I/we get bogged down and fall for definitives, but I promise never to let them define me or keep me from exploring, growing - being better - Unreserved. xoxoxo

It's just football....
So I listened to howard like I do every morning and then when it's over I switch to local sports radio to catch up on buckeye news etc etc etc.... Now I had read a blurp in the paper about a kids death at a Notre Dame practice yesterday from a wind gust knocking over a scissor stand. My initial thought was how sad and what a gust of wind! Now I am very aware of the up coming weather, but rarely do I remember yesterday's weather unless it directly affects me, so I had no knowledge of what the weather was like yesterday in South bend. Now for those of you that don't know all major colleges use stands (permanent or portable) to high angle film practice for self evaluation. On the local sports radio show at 1 the host is giving detail after detail on the events of yesterday. First and most important this was no rogue storm or gust, the winds all day were 40 to 60 mph! Notre Dame uses (unlike the permanent ones at osu that tressel wouldn't use yesterday because of the wind) portable ones. These go higher than the goal posts, probably 150 ft in air or so? and reportedly are have safety warnings about using if winds are over 25 mph. Second, the 20 year old jr (working probably for free/experience/love of his school) was terrified and new what they were doing was stupid. He posted to his facebook before practice about not going to have fun at work today because of wind and then again (i'm guessing from platform on his cell phone) about 45 min before his death... this is really scary, 60mph wind gusts, guess i've had a good life.... Wow! Sadly no one (coaches, training staff, facility managers) thought it was dangerous enough they could go without filming practice for the big Tulsa game this Saturday or go inside to (like they did tuesday) practice. Third, they continued to practice after the scissor lift fell and the kid died, now surely the kid was rushed to the hospital and they didn't know, but come on they had to have seen it and thought it was serious/life threatining. They have no plans to postpone the game (which would probably be appropriate) and I realize that's not realisitic, but the moment of silence will feel empty from the people that should have been responsible and prevented the tragedy. If this was OSU and coach tress, I wouldn't call for his firing (because of all the good he does) but i'd have no problem if he was fired. It is why big time coaches get paid so much and why so many of them look old beyond their years because of the stress of the job and the total responsibility for the football program. There's just no excuse for the situation and someone should pay, sadly only that kid and his family will pay, for a PRACTICE. Oh, and ND is denying the local sheriff's office from investigating saying it was on campus and their private security had jurisdiction over the "accident", real classy! Someone in South Bend (like the president or board of directors or whomever is head of the school) should step in and stop this snowball of bad decision on top of bad decision. Sad, for a frickin football practice...

Week 9 picks
Probably not going to win without a miracle comeback, so my picks will be more 'hedged' than normal. Here goes nothing....
10 pts - Sparty wins, need Iowa to pull upset to give bucks any chance at sharing bigten championship.
9 pts - Oregon wins, i'm starting to lean toward wanting all the bcs schools to lose and see Boise v tcu title game to blowup the bcs and get a playoff in college football.
8 pts - FSU wins, ? on this just a guess, no reasoning.
7 pts - Mizzu wins, Now the big dog in the Big 12 how will they handle it? We shall see.
6 pts - K st wins, just for Ian and softbutter fans everywhere.
5 pts - WV wins, man I just have no passion for any of these games.
4 pts - Fla wins, the greatest cocktail party in the world needs extra drinks to make this game exciting this year. Can anyone seeing Urban losing 4 in a row?
3 pts - Cal wins, want to make this higher based on how they have played recently, but not sure they can take the show on the road.
2 pts - Ttech wins, from what I hear A&M is bad bad.
1 pts - Zona wins, guess that pistol magic is over for ucla?
Sucks lacking passion and going thru the motions waiting for 'the game' as only game that still inspires major passion in me for the year. Hope bucks don't feel this way, they need to be up to run the table, not down like me. Go Bucks!!

A few things
Got back from vacation fine, will post some thoughts and pics on that later, but now some thoughts bouncing around my head. Today on Howard I heard maybe the dumbest question ever - Coach Ditka was in to be interviewed and hauk some motivational DVD and a caller asked (in quite a southern accent) if he thought the HANS device (? on spelling and is a device warn in nascar that attach's to helmet and seat to make the head immobile or almost immobile in a crash) could help the concusion problem in the NFL? How is this supposed to help? What would it attach to? Why am I even trying to think of logical questions for this morons question? Does his sister still do special things for him now that they are married? Ok, that was cheap, but that was an imbred question if I ever heard one! Next, heard the browns victory over the saints this weedend (and i haven't fact check this but i'm going with it) is the 3rd year in a row the browns have defeated the defending Superberry Champions! Wow, now on offense and special teams we used smoke and mirrors to get things done and for defense we played well, made some plays and we have a genious defensive coordinator. Note to other def cord's, Drew is a midget (as i've been saying for years) go with the only 1 down lineman defense and you'll easily confuse him and/or block his vision from seeing the receivers! Sadly the browns are showing some heart again after its probably to late to make a serious run at the playoff's and instead will just win enough to damage their draft position. Oh well it is way better than they have been. Looking forward to getting a haircut sunday after the haloween party (i'm going as fat eddie fedder!). I think, hope, am going to try and encourage my nephew to be a rock god! He shows a natural ability and love for guitar and drums and a keen eye for the ladies.... so he's well on his way! Going to try and give up pop (by far my biggest vice in my life) with my wife. Today is the day and i'm dragging bigtime. Some dude yoked a hole-in-one to win a golf tournament in sudden death, thats a pretty good shot! My sister-in-law suggested yesterday that Callie and I could have triplet girls and i've been thinking about that alot today and realized that there is a distinct difference between the words have and keep! Fifty cent can make a billion dollars off it, but vitamin water sucks dick! Man do I want a pepsi! or coke, sprite, dr pepper, hell I'd drink flat Big K and it's only been 1 day! Anyone else looking forward to next wednesday (no mas political adds)? Hmmm, well guess that's all for now. Hope all my peeps are having a good day.

Wk 8 picks - vegas baby!!
So this will be short and thankfully no rant on the fallen other than to say he might not have lost that game for us, but he didn't win it and greatness wins a game like that despite the odds. So look for another year after this of being at the base of the summit knowing we can't scale that last 100 ft and stand at the top of the world. Ehh, I said all I really cared about was getting to 9-1 and I meant it, Go Bucks!!
Reason this is short and I can let go is - I'm in Vegas baby!! Belated honeymoon for Callie and I, also her best friend is out here celebrating being newlyweds with her husband and family. Having a blast in our second trip to Vegas, the Monte Carlo is very nice (better than luxor fo sho) and one day we will get to the Bellagio!!
On to the picks, man did we all suck last week- high was 29 out 55- well when all top teams go almost potty trained 2 yr old and shyte themselves the first time you try no diaper that will happen.
10 - Sparty wins, we don't play them, so win out and fighting dantonio's have a bigten championship. Wow, and it almost killed him to get there, maybe he'll smile if they do, maybe!
9 - Bucks win, we better and we owe them for last year, usually tress will go non sweatervest and lay the hammer, if we have soul at all look for this to get ugly.
8 - ND wins, sorry my second fav team navy, no upset this year. Bill should be happy Coach looks like he can see that corner and is flooring it to turn golden domers back into a power. Just in time for contract renegotiation, hey NBC bend over her it comes!!
7 - Neb wins, another team that should have some good anger to release and hopefully (for my picks) will!
6 - Utah wins, who cares
5 - Iowa wins, anyone who thinks badgers are good cause of Saturday is delusional. Ok I can't resist, let me say why I love being a buckeye fan! I love having everyone take their best shot and I will gladly put up with the heart break of a Saturday night over being the pathetic inferior little guy who has to get so excited over pulling the upset because they never really ever will be in contention for the big prize, I don't like Florida or SC, but I respect them more than second class fucking losers like wisconsin, purdue, oregon st, oregon, vanderbilt, etc etc I'm a big dog, not a blue field lover, I love America and the capitalist spirit of the big guy, so all the commie's can enjoy the Boise St vs TCU or Oregon National Championship game if it happens - I'll be watching a movie with my wife. You know what neb joining the bigten means, its now the big 4 and the little 8. OSU is, Mich will be again, Neb is and Penn st will be again after JoePa kicks or retires the rest are just playing to get that one special night, we play for a special season every year. The world needs ditch diggers too and they go to Wisconsin or Purdue or Indiana etc etc. Damn that felt good!
4 - Miami wins, only because it's at home and NC only has about like 50 guys still on scholarship!
3 - Aub wins, wow guess there is a special black quarterback who can do it all and where's number 2, sadly he is in Alabama. War Eagle. Maybe you can win out and Oklahoma can win out and we will get a semi watchable Nat Champ game?
2 - Mizzu wins, but we won't cause mizzu is primed for an upset, I think or at least this is where I try to do some crazy picks and make up some points, if I go 10 for 10 this week I definitely will with these picks.
1 - Air Force wins, come on bolts carry the flag for the Academies and pull the upset, "you can do it!!"
Damn that was my shot at being short and concise! lol! back to helping keep the lights on in Vegas!! I did win the MNF bet last night, to bad I lost the over bet!

Day 73/74
Didn't do shyte friday, went and saw jackass. Walked about 6 miles this morning giving me 10 on the week, not bad considering i've been sick most of the week. Going to try and do some wii or play outside with my nephew at my parents before the game to make up for the 2 miles short i am. Go Bucks!!
Thursday, October 14, 2010
Day 71/72
Did a mile the past 2 days at lunch, so up to 4 miles on the week. Only 8 more to do, night game saturday leaves a lot of time to kill saturday during the day, so should be good. Go Bucks!!

Some questions and answers.
On my wife’s blog she answered some questions and then made some new ones and asks others to answer them (not me) and out of boredom and narcissism I decided to try the questions.
1. What is your favorite blog post of your own and why? Oooooooo, talk about narcissistic, what do I like the most of the things I’ve said because I think my words are so profound to begin with? Hmmm, I’d say I like the football rants because that was the impetuous for doing the blog and allows me to vent frustrations.
2. What is your favorite hobby and why? Would blogging be a hobby? Ehh, that’s new, I guess my favorite life long hobby is sports. Writing about, playing, watching or anything sport related has provided me with lots of entertainment.
3. How does my family feel about my blogging? Those that read it I think like it, but if they don’t they can do like 99.99999999999999999 % of the world and not read it! If I could get that number down to like 99.77777777777777 %, I’d be richer than shyte!
4. Where do you work? At a medical billing company, did you fall asleep? Sorry. I didn’t ask the questions, just answering them.
5. Favorite quote of all time? This is like favorite song or movie; it changes all the time. For today I’d say Freddie Mercury “They can say what they want, but we aren’t too bad for 4 ageing Queens!”
6. Favorite subject in high school and why? Serious answer, Math because I was good at it and it came easy to me (until Calc); not serious answer is class with ADHD teachers. I actually won 5 dollars off a kid betting him I could get a test postponed till the next day. I asked 2 questions that led to a discussion that took the whole class and the teacher said oh no, more time to study, we will take the test Monday!
7. Where did you come up with name of my blog? Wow, what a question. Well anyone that knows Freud can tell you he had a lot of sex issues/beliefs etc etc etc. And to me one of the funniest things to hear someone say in anger is go F yourself or suck my bleep, so in a play on words it just came to me, gofreudmyblog. I mean really a blog is a good way to say here is what I’m thinking about (weather its serious/fun/stupid/silly/informative…)
So I guess I’m saying read this and try and figure me out while I at laugh at your face, because if you try and make too much sense of my ramblings your face will contort into a veiny brain freeze type of bitter beer face mush! Here is a hint: I’m nuts and full of shyte 75% of the time and the other 25% I’m asleep.
8. My dream home? Right now, any and soon! (Neighbors suck!) But if I had the option, a big ranch with a giant basement with 4 big screen TVs and giant comfy leather couches to watch football with all my family and friends. And (my wife knows where I’m headed)……………… a big giant frickin MOAT with a drawbridge and real crocodiles and snakes to eat whomever tried to get on my land and would surely fall into my awesome MOAT. Ok, and probably with a Ferrari only garage and sweet stone pillars with protective Gargoyles!
There should be a 9th question that asks how the hell did you find someone to marry you, but I’d have no answer other than dumb luck.
That was fun, anything else people would like to know, just ask and I will give you an answer ASAP.

Wk 7 picks
So week 6 picks went well for all? About half way thru season and teams are scitzo as ever, bucks are a passing team – pray for good weather games. Our defense is pretty good (especially losing 2 starting db’s). Typically the middle of the season (and no change this year) is where I get nervous solely because I don’t know what really to expect. I could see the bucks winning all the rest of their games (and comfortably) or them losing 2 or 3 thus being a bust/disappointment. Most likely (like yrs past) they will falter one time and have a good season, but not quite compete for the national title. First and most important, beat the fighting richrod’s and all else is bonus for me. If we do go undefeated it will definitely be on the arm and legs of 2, thus making him a very serious Heisman contender (something I didn’t really think could/would happen). Let’s delve into week 7 and see how much damage I can cause!
10 pts – Nevada wins, oh they will crush Hawaii! Haven’t you heard, they and Boise St are going to clash for the play in to the BCS title game from that power conference that is the WAC! It’s like Goliath vs. Goliath; I quake in fear from the mighty mighty WAC. Want to know why people like me hate the Boise St Hype, Indiana would finish 3rd in the WAC and we saw how bad they are last week. What a joke?!
9 pts – Neb wins, they good – like richrod’s team, but with a defense! Now that’s Scary. There’s gonna be a Bo back in the Bigten that scares people next year, but it will be from Cornland, ironically he is also a buckeye.
8 pts – S Car wins, can the ole ball coach get the boys to focus after the big upset (first ever over a number 1 team, stop selling history of SEC football, u can’t count history that started in the 90’s. aside from bama, no long real history of greatness in SEC prior to the 90’s) yes he can, it’s Kentucky and they not good.
7 pts – K st wins, I think Ian paid Munish to pick this game cause he loves kst, this is a who cares game, I really think it should be my 10 pt game, but can’t put a team that could get distracted by soft butter as my 10 pt win.
6 pts – Pitt wins, again should be higher, but picking the stach this high is nerve racking enough, come on pitt, it’s the Cuse(and not in bball).
5 pts – Iowa wins, if this was in Iowa it’d be my 10 pt game, but richrod has a QB, WR, and a nose tackle. The rest of the team is still painful, but at home that is enough to be scary and Iowa can be turnover prone sometimes. Truly think Iowa’s def line will bring the pain, but ?
4 pts – Or st wins, all I have to say is I’m holding back a great Husky Beaver joke here.
3 pts – Bucks win, I think we will play well and get by, it’s a tough one, but I think we have what it takes, we will see. Go Bucks!!
2 pts – SC wins, going with home team here in a coin flip. So happy they suck ahhahahaha.
1 pt – Ark wins, man going with the road team in SEC is stupid, but what’s new for me?
There you have it, oh yeah; I’m like 30 pts out of first so forget a grain of salt. Take my picks with a whole bag of salt! Go Bucks!!

Day 68/69
No walking yesterday, will get some in today. Probably another chopped up week, but will get it in, big game this saturday (also and more importantly my first anniv). Lucky my wife is understanding and we are celebrating a lot next week so she's fine with spending sat night rooting on the bucks. Going to try to show picture from where we sat for the game this past weekend, great seats courtesy of front runner for bro-in-law of the year!

Thanks again Bill!! So, I have to fly later this week and i'm not a big fan of flying (i'm a control freak who loves to drive and see our great land with four wheels under me, not as i'm hurling across it in a giant beer can at 400 mph) so let me say what a great year it has been and if I don't get a captain Sully and something goes wrong thanks for the following! Got married to a wonderful woman who puts up with my stupidity, saw 2 OSU football games, a browns game (they actually won), 2 nascar races (dega baby!!), 3rd PJ concert, got a great dog, great nephew whom i'm turning into a defensive lineman, as always awesome parents.... all in all a pretty awesome year. Seriously, I should not be tempting fate by flying! Ehh, i'm a sissy - people fly everyday (even if it is against god's will!! he would have gave us wings if he wanted us to fly right?). Go Bucks!!

".... and no religion too"
Tomorrow, Saturday October 9th 2010 would have been John Lennon's 70th bday. Hard to believe its coming up on 30 yrs since he was murdered (I wasn't even 2 yrs old yet) and even harder to wonder what music we've missed. What would he say about Islamic extremism and the Christian coalition? Long hair, beard, and preaching peace and understanding and some people thought he was an evil demon because he bashed organized religion - talk about ironic. They couldn't understand it wasn't the message, but the delivery that was/is wrong. Imagine album will be spinning on my ipod tomorrow morning and then maybe a little white album. 70, wow, he might have looked like Santa, well a skinny smoking Santa?

Day 64/65
Walked almost 5 miles yesterday, not going to get any walking done tonigh (30th bday dinner for friend), so will have to get in 7 more friday night and saturday morning. Will get done. Go Bucks!!!

Day 61/62/63 aka no whining
Man if it was as easy to keep goals as to make excuses i'd be F-ing prez by now. Anyway, I haven't done shit mon or tue, excuses like working overtime, doing laundry, blah blah blah. If I don't walk 12 miles between now and sat noon, anything that goes wrong at buckeye game is my fault. Guess I better get my pathetic lard ass moving. Have plans to try, want to get 4-5 miles in tonight, see if I can stay excuse free for a few days. Wonder what Tress would say if he knew fate of his season lie at the feat of a crazy fat man from Dublin? :-) I'd guess he say, can't even go to the grocery store without these kooks harassing me the whole time i'm trying to buy my sugar smacks! Coach looks like a sugar smacks guy, anyway I saw him at the store once in like 2004 and (i'm so proud of this) I left him completely alone, didn't follow him, ask for a photograph, stare inappropriately or even hug him and sob on his shoulder saying thank you for breaking the curse untill security came and seperated us (what I really wanted to do). If we have a daughter she is going to be so mad at her first name - Tressella. For those of you wondering how I talked Callie into this name, I haven't, just figured i'll fill out that name stuff while she is still out on the drugs! I'm gonna get a dirty look for that one, oh well. Go Bucks!!

wk 6 picks
This will be long……….. First, to you devil worshipers at the top of the picks whom are averaging almost 50 pts a week – I’m impressed – you soulless robots!! Second F U Mark Richt, how do you have all that talent and loooooose to Colorado? Oh, I remember you’re a bum loser, well at least you have 13 players on defense coming to town this week – even you should be able to win that game. Third, does anybody have magic healing power for TP’s quad muscle? I may have punched myself in the head at my mother in-laws house Saturday, thanks bucks (I think she still likes me, but she’s a saint so I’m just lucky). Are our db’s getting treated at the Cleveland Clinic? Seriously they are dropping like Boise St in the polls!! (soooo happy that Oregon jumped them hehehehehe) Forth, did ya see LeMichael James or Trent Richardson or D. Robinson; I wouldn’t even put the defending heisman winner as the favorite on his own team. I have him 4th behind the above mentioned and 49 yds rushing vs. Florida is not going to help over come missing 2 games of the season. I didn’t fact check this, but only 2 guys before Denard had more than 1 game with 200 yds passing and running and he’s done it in all 5 games this season?! Hey richrod, either you're dumber than some think for not playing this kid last year (because of the Force) or you had the greatest off season QB camp in the history of football. Dude is siiicccckkkk, my only relief is your defense is still bad bad (no seriously its bad, like finding out your dad does gay porn bad… aka going to the golden gate bridge with my jumping shoes on bad). If the Hoosiers had stopped pointing a gun at their own foot and pulling the trigger they could have scored 2-3 more touchdowns in that game. Finally, I’m one of the most ardent Tressel defenders and I will defend his right to win as boring as he can as long as we keep winning and ‘most especially’ against t.u.n.: but if TP goes Cleveland clinic too, then please please please no midget Bauserman. If we told people we were not going to throw the ball and just run the zone read option with Kenny Guiton we’d have more success than if the other teams agreed to only play 10 defenders against Bauserman. Hopefully it won’t matter and TP will get some trainer girl to go Mr. Miagi on his quad. Now on to my picks so ya’ll can laugh at my wrongness for another week. Clearly by my ramblings and nonsense I have mental issues and should get 3 bonus points for not picking the wrong games. Some times I’m so out of it I actually understand the lade’s texts!
10 pts – Bucks wins, should see if our defense can hold down the Hoosiers better than the 3-3-5 did last week and hopefully get our (no Pryor) running game going a little stronger.
9 pts – Stan wins, um they played a very very good duck team on the road well and should give a nice beat down on the Trojans. Hey SC fan listen real close, you hear that? Its come upins biotch!!
8 pts – Uga wins, ok seriously this is why I’m nuts cause I know Richt will F me like he has before, so why have him so high? The other games are more of a toss up and even he can’t F this one up, can he? Tennessee is still learning to shower properly and that you only play with 11 at a time.
7 pts – Mich wins, seriously sparty is due to choke, they are a run dominant team and mich defense struggles verse pass, dline is actually kinda good. Plus richrod can save his job winning this and with the domer win, without beating the bucks. I’m going to call this score 49 – 34.
6 pts – Wash wins, ok I had 5 home winners and 5 road winners so I decided to do 5 home winners 10 thru 6 and 5 road winners 5 thru 1 and UW is least confident pick of the home winners, so hope good Locker shows up and not hurt Locker! (movie pun, I rule)
5 pts – Baylor wins, Baylor qb good good good and tech should have kept crazy man and let him put as many players in closets as he wanted to.
4 pts – UCLA wins, um might there be a reason to watch bruin football and not just bruin sidelines? Could be and in the both can’t be good at same time theory, maybe bruin on way up and Trojans on way down. We all know when the Trojans are on the way down then all the fun is over!
3 pts – SDSU wins, the fighting Mormons always tough to beat at home, but think SDSU is Marshall Faulk good again.
2 pts – Or st wins, honestly if or st wins good for my points if they lose bad for Boise st strength of schedule. I say go whomever players Or st or Va tech.
1 pt – Free shoes wins, think a lot of people might take Miami here so hoping all but me do and I’m right and make up some points and if I’m wrong it doesn’t hurt to much. Keep this in mind, Seminoles lead nation in sacks (by a lot) and we know how well Harris handles pressure, by throwing lots of INT’s.
Well there you have it, I think my leg hurts, could that be sympathy pain? Please Terrelle, have magic healing powers, sweating out your “are you kidding me he just threw that pass” moments is a million times better than having the reincarnate version of Joe C (little rapper dude that used to perform with kid rock) play qb. If it comes down to the bad scenario I’m sending Coach every Kenny G album I can find! Go Bucks!!
10 pts – Bucks wins, should see if our defense can hold down the Hoosiers better than the 3-3-5 did last week and hopefully get our (no Pryor) running game going a little stronger.

Day 57/58/59/60
What a great, long, tured weekend. Friday headup to wife's hometown to visit the family, kinda of chilled out (with some yummy lasagna!!). Saturday got up in moring walked about 1hr or 3mi, then watched bucks in the calm/quiet/mature way that i'm known for!!! Then went to bdub's to watch evening games with bro-inlaw and his buddy from NY. Sunday the 3 of us went to Browns v bungals game, had lots of beer and free string cheese (they were giving it away outside the stadium) and lots of woofing! Some how, it didn't rain and wasn't to cold and the browns won, i know unbelievable but true!! Lots of walking searching for a clean bathroom outside stadium, not sure how much but i'm sure I was covered on my 2 miles for the day. Could use a vacation to recover from my weekend, that good of a weekend. Well, back to the grind. Go Bucks!!

Going to concert tonight, so no walking, but will make up for it tomorrow and this weekend. Going to Shelby this weekend, visit Callie's family and go to Browns v Bengals game with her brother. Will get plenty of walking in around Shelby and stay on track for the bucks.

Week 5 picks
My goodness I’ve gone back and forth on whom to pick and at what point level this week more than I do typically in 5 weeks. Probably going to second guess myself into a 30 pt week, but maybe I’ll get lucky and catch those 200 pt people.
10pts – Nev wins, well this is the team Steve and others keep telling me is going to throw mighty Boise St down and stomp on them, so the runnin rebels should be pushovers?! I guess, the WAC sucks!!
9pts – Okla wins, um yeah tejas is bad and even inconsistent boomer sooner should win ‘aunt flow’ shootout.
8pts – NCst wins, here is another case of the ‘experts’ saying how great ncst is and to ‘look out’ for them, so they should be able to take down va tech right? I ought to have my head examined for having this an 8 pt game.
7pts – Bama wins, I so wanted to pick this as a 1 pt game and pick Florida, but even my hate of Urban and wanting to jinx him can’t make me pick against bama. Honestly the way fla has played this shouldn’t even be close. Anyone picking fla this week is taking a shot at a big come back with an unlikely upset. The only reason this isn’t my 10 pt game is because I believe Urban may have a deal with the devil? Anyway, bama got their scare last week, fla has no off (at least compared to what they are used to having) I say bama wins going away 38-17.
6pts – Iowa wins, psu gonna find going thru bigten with freshman qb a bumpy ride, but they are showing promise so I’d give them a slight chance, but on the road gives Iowa the edge.
5pts – Uga wins, when will I learn my lesson? Probably never, uga bad, but not Colorado bad! Enjoy all that power that the buffs bring to your conference next year Pac10, what a score?!
4pts – FSU wins, well the hooves aren’t bad like last year, but probably (even at home) not ready to beat improved free shoes U, but could happen so kept this one low.
3pts – Wisc wins, hmmmm sparty didn’t choke after big win so maybe sparty is fo’real? Who knows, we all will this week. Giving edge to team whose coach will be on sideline, but this could go either way.
2pts – N’west wins, minn bad bad bad, but N’west will always be purple power so can’t pick them real high cause anything can happen in these stupid little 8 match ups.
1pt – Oregon wins, man I still like fighting Nikes a lot, but that damn Harbum scares me and he has a good QB. Harbum is the main reason I hope richrod wins just enough (everyone but the bucks) to keep his job, cause buckeye nation does NOT want to see Harbum snarl his teeth for the winged helmets again. Like Steve I hate the guy, but I hate Urban Meyer and know he’s good. Hate does not mean lack of respect.
Speaking of richrod, this week ought be very interesting for them and tell how bad that defense really is and weather or not it’s going to cause problems in their bigten schedule. Indiana still feels hosed from the last meeting and has a very good offense. Honestly aside from the buck’s obvious challenges (mich, iowa, wis, psu) Indiana is the game that makes me most nervous in the ‘should be easy win’ games. They have an offense that can score and that is always dangerous. Fortunately we have them at home and their defense is still Hoosier quality, but richrod gets them on the road and looks not to have a defense either. This game should be entertaining, explosive, and educational.
Steve, Slackman, the lade, and I went to the 73-20 ass whooping Saturday and had a blast! I know I’m in the minority, but I (and my cardiologist) love those games, sometimes it’s nice to have a nice easy win. Hope offense can keep producing points as we role thru the bigten, don’t need 73, but if you give me 30+ each week I’ll like our chances. Oh and 1 last thing, I guess the numb nuts calling the game on TV Saturday called the Shoe ‘the big house’? How the F do you cash you paycheck after that blunder? What morons?!!
Side note for you NASCAR peeps, go smoke get me three wins in a row at Kansas this week and get me back on track for a 3rd straight series championship!!

Day 51/52
Didn't walk yesterday, but did probably walk 2-3 miles down at shoe on saturday so I figure got about 6 in over weekend total, so way ahead. Great time at game saturday, now been to 3 70+ pt games in my life!! Not sure if I will walk with dog or play wii today, but will get something done. Also had great time chillin with family at my cousins 40th bday party, nice to catch up with everyone and have some great food and enjoy some nice fall weather.
Saturday, September 25, 2010
Day 50
Got up early traded vehichles with J and then went and walked for about 45 minutes, probably about 2.5 mi, going to get more walking in today.... Going to the bucks game!!! Ummm not the best opponent, but alway love going to the shoe and hopefully will be a semi-stressless game. Go Bucks!!!!
Friday, September 24, 2010
Day 48/49
Walked a mile yesterday at lunch, that was it for the day and today be the off day. Going to get in 3-4 miles saturday morning to get me on schedule for the week. Then going to the game this week, yay! and that will be more walking. Go bucks!!
Thursday, September 23, 2010
Day 47
No walking, got my tires (barely) during storm 2. Seems we have a fall every 3-4 years where storms are nasty, this year starting to look that way, booooo!!! Going to walk some today at lunch and then play some wii when I get home tonight.
Wednesday, September 22, 2010
Day 46
Went to park, didn't walk around lake today, walked part of the bike path from antrim down to whetstone and back (about 4.5 mi) in 1hr20min. Going to have to either today or tomorrow take care of some tire issues so walk extra to compensate. Will get my 12 miles in for the week even if I have to do it in 1 or 2 days.

my actual picks for wk 4
Guess the Bigten is still the Bigchoke! Wisconsin I knew was overrated, the fighting richrods never pretended to have a defense, but Iowa – really? Wow, way to show up and give away your shot at a national title in week 3 by not playing football till the second half. I’m still skeptical that the buckeyes won’t drop the ball (literally with turnovers and special teams) and give away a game either at Iowa or Wisconsin or worst of all in ‘the game’, but I now know for certain there is no team left on our schedule that will beat us. There are teams we can play bad and lose to, but none that can beat us. Hopefully the defense can weather a bad offense game or our offense can stay error free and we can role to the BCS title game and get a shot at Bama. If we do and bama stumbles, pray that Nebraska or Oklahoma or Florida goes undefeated so we can have an opponent that people will give us credit for beating. Playing Boise st would be a lose-lose game, if you win everyone says who cares they shouldn’t have been there and if you lose, well lets not even think about how bad that would be. On to my picks or as they are known on the street, ‘Eric Mangini like brain power’!! (for you non browns fans, that means they suck!)
10 pts – Fla wins, hey Urban good thing you have a nice soft schedule to begin with so you can figure out stuff before the big boys come a knockin!
9 pts – Bama wins, ummm yeah Ark you struggled at UGA who es nada mui bueno. Let me make an analogy, you (ark) are the strung out coke whore in a warehouse in Van Nuys and Mark, Julio and the rest of bama is the train! Lube up, role tide!
8 pts – Ore wins, to those of you saying Ingram is going to tie Archie cause of what he did against Duke, its Duke, he missed 2 games (so far), he’ll split caries with the other guy (who might actually be more complete), and have you seen LeMichael James?! Wow, he’s so good I might forgive how stupid his name is, probably not, but maybe. Asu, this ain’t bucky badger this week, better buckle up tight.
7 pts – LSU wins, WV should have lost to Marshall whom we hammered, and so I’m guessing they might struggle at LSU a little?!
6 pts – Aub wins, Herbie keeps saying how good and underrated Auburn is and well who doesn’t love saying War Eagle!!
5 pts – Stan wins, Now I know the golden domers where without there QB for most of the first have against the fighting richrod’s, but seriously Umass torched that defense, how did you not score more. I (like my bro in law Bill) still believe Kelly will get ND turned around, but what Woody said ‘you win with people’ will always be true and he needs time to get the people. Ironically just like Harbaugh will next year when he takes over for richrod and tries to right that ship.
4 pts – Canes win, they better or the bucks win looks less impressive, plus you’re going against the stache! Though the stache is why I have this so low in points, he tends to pull games like this out his Arse!
3 pts – Miss wins, I know Fresno is another new trendy look at me little guy, but it’s a mighty SEC team at home, so hopefully they Massoli up and get a win.
2 pts – Zona wins, Can they ride the wave of a big victory to the coast and get a big road win? Hope so, maybe the best Stoopes brother is not in Norman any more?
1 pt – GaTech wins, I think NCst is better, but they have struggled with the option in the past and tech is the home team so I’ll go with them at home for a point.
Going to the shoe for the game this weekend, going to have a blast, if paper holds true and bucks continue to stomp on inferior teams early then this should get ugly fast. Great teams do, hope they continue to as well! Steve, travel safe, see you in a couple days. Go Bucks!!!!
10 pts – Fla wins, hey Urban good thing you have a nice soft schedule to begin with so you can figure out stuff before the big boys come a knockin!

not what i sat out to write about
Last week my wife got some free tickets for the Crew game on Saturday night. The bucks were playing at noon so it fit our schedule real nice. Went to my parent’s house to watch the bucks, play with my nephew and let the dog run in my parents’ backyard (thus exhausting him and swaging our guilt for putting him in cage sat night). Headed out to the game about 6:45 for a 7:30 kick and some good soccer to top off a good day of watching football and enjoying a beautiful fall Saturday in buckeye land. Now for the bad news (and it has nothing to do with the outcome of the match on the ‘pitch’)… as we walked thru the parking lot, see people tailgating and playing soccer having a good ole time, we hear ‘hey it’s Callie and Dave’. This has happened to us all where you run into a friend out and you stop and talk, catch up etc etc etc…. So these are friends of Callie’s whom I’ve hung out with many times and enjoy hanging out with very much, so this will be a bit painful, but it needs said. I have talked with this (former) buckeye fan many a time about sports and other things and seemed (and probably is to normal people but I have issues, we all know this) like a real buckeye fan. He and his fellow crew tailgaters had been in the parking lot of crew stadium ‘tailgating’ since NOON. I did not stutter or misspeak, noon/12/12:00 military time! For those of you not following this was kickoff of the bucks’ game which was on cable, so they ‘listened on the radio’!! You had 4 hrs between end of bucks’ game and beginning of crew game to drive down and tailgate for F’ing soccer! Come on! What is going on, did Callie plan this and it was all a lie to F with me? I’ve seriously been thinking about it all day, I told the ladies at my office about it, I feel like a member of the team had a career ending injury (and yes I consider fans a member of the team, until you volunteer to pay for my Psychologist leave me alone, I know I need help). I won’t talk to him in the same way ever again, it will be like having a football conversation with the ladies at work or my mom or well most girls, I’ll be polite and informative where I can and in my head be wishing my brother, dad, Gary, Slack, Steve, Bill etc etc etc were there to really talk football. I’ve actually talked to my wife about (if this season goes well) making a serious attempt to curtail some of my ways when it comes to football and how I allow it to affect me and my behavior/mood. I can, want to, and will do so, but I will not stop watching EVERY game. I’m human, family comes first so if a life and death situation happens family comes before football, but sorry everything else can get done in the other 164-165 hrs in the week. Honestly, the only downside to how great my in-laws are is that it has more than doubled the number of people whom are more important to me than football, but they are family now and cool too. Man, I intended to do my picks for week 4 college football and that came out, maybe they should take 1 dollar of every ticket sale (70 bucks at face value if you can find them) and set up a free public clinic for us fans?! Reasons, not to see buckeye game, family emergency, kids whatever (although try and get your kids over involved in spring/summer sports so they have the fall free to be brainwashed), fighting for your country and that’s all I can think of. Oh or cable goes out during game, in which case you listen on radio till you can drive to closest place showing the game. I think my blood pressure is up, gotta go get some water.
Day 42/43/44
So the weekend got away from me as far as posting, but friday was off day, saturday took dog with me to park and walked 1 lap and then some trails doing about 2 milies, sunday failed to get out and walk, but did lots around the house. Will make up for lost sunday this week with some extra walking. Bucks looked good, still worried about when TP has mental lapses, but he is so good when he's on that we will have to hope defense can weather his bad spells. Going to the game this week with the el prez, v.p. and the lade! Can't wait, Go Bucks!!

Day 41 and the finger of God
For those that don't know.... tornadoes turn me into a girl. Seriously I make Liberace look like the dos XX's guy when the sirens go off! So yesterday when leaving work I went home and not to the park and I went straight to my basement to watch nervously till Jim Gahnal told me he was going to White Castle thus meaning the weather is clear. So last night to get a good sweat on I played some Wii, really is silly simple fun. Two things reaffirmed (for the umpteenth time) I suck at all forms of bowling and I rock at wii tennis! Ask my wife, she quit, I'm the Rod Laver (probably more the Johny Mac with my potty mouth, but I wanna pretend to be classy) of wii tennis and I challenge all takers!! Also got in some wii boxing, no baseball its lame. Today is the off day, but might play some more wii just for fun.

Day 40
Only did 1 lap yesterday at the park, but walked another little trail probably did about 1.8 mi total. My right leg keeps hurting, not sure why it gets better as I walk, but stretching doesn't seem to help. Weird. Lots of rain in forcast today and heavy wins, maybe i'll just run down wind the whole time, that could help :-)
