Hanes commercial? What is wrong with me?

Ok, extra warning, i'm going way 'tmi' on this one...

I don't remember when I started wearing boxer breifs? It doesn't matter and I probably started in high school, but why don't I remember that meaningless moment? I remember lots of trivial nonsence, ask my wife! I remember when I made a conscious decisions to have an official autograph for if I was famous, I remember when I switched to mayo instead of miracle whip. I know that i've loved Nike since the sickest gray sneakers when JJ was osu bball god. I know that Queen live at Wimbley 86 I listened to 3 times in a row when I got it over xmas break in 7th grade. Heck my best friend in high school would eat 3 dry tuna fish sandwiches to try and build muscle weight, despite the fact he was 6'8" and couldnt dunk. All these useless memories of unimportant moments and I cant remember, where when or how I made the important and wise decision that is boxer briefs!

Seriously, the best of both worlds, like a great friend there with support without being to all up in your buisness, literally!

Maybe, Jordan clued me in, maybe it was just luck? I just cant remember, hmmmm. Maybe it will come to me on my death bed, that'd be a weird memory right before - fin

For the uncultured, fin is a snobby frenchy way to say the end, see I know that and it is useless!!

As if being white wasn't bad enough

Now before you think i've completely lost my mind, i'm talking the NFL and RB's where being white happens as often as Glen Beck has a calm, rational, non 'how can i make more money off this racket' thought - close to never!!

Anyway, the jinx of all jinx - the Moses Muhammed Christ of Jinx has befallen the first browns rb to rush for 1k yds in two decades - the great white hype - gorrilla hillis!

I'm certain he will get scurvey or something, damn!!

Did he know moses?

So Beno Cook, the hot air balloon of college football, is reporting Tress will be fired/resign and Urban Meyer will be next coach of the buckeyes. (Big sigh) where to begin?.....

First, and you can ask my wife, I am not a blind faith supporter of tress simply because i'm not a blind faith follower of anything. If there are litterally gates to heaven with a man asking questions from a book, i'm gonna be the dick who says - "Ah, excuse me I have some questions of my own!" But that is a rant for a different post, why I tell you this is I hate that people would think I support him for his image. I distrust almost everyone and am shocked by nothing, I have thousands of years of evidence for such beliefs. I love tress for same reason I love tiger woods, they are elite - they do what others can't and I never thought they had clean closets with WWJD braclets or buddist prayer rooms. Al Davis maybe the first dead  person to "weekend at bernie's" his rule past his experation date, but he is right when he says 'just win baby'. And again everyone is doing it isn't an excuse, but it is a reality. The hard part is some want to play, but do not want to deal with the consequences. If the NCAA is looking to set an example and drop multi-year penalties, then yeah tress has got to go. However, if the penalty is one year no post season and a few scholarships, then you take that bullet like a man and keep a proven winner. Who would say no to another ten years like the last ten if you have to take a year penalty? Some, but not those who know what is really going on in college sports and why the SEC wins (they spend big shhhhhh).

Now on to the Urban legend. If tress is doomed to go, then hell yeah i'll take him. He knows how to win, is from ohio and if his health and mind set is right would eat up the bigten like tress has, but guess what? He is a cheater too, look it up, wake up - all the best or top programs do. Know what else seperates the SEC from everyone besides money? They understand what tress needs to learn, keep your sketchy shit on 19th century technology, damn it, doesn't anyone understand why Paulie in Goodfellas never spoke on the phone?

Sidenote, someone needs to put a horsehead in pryors bed till he stops fucking tweeting!!

Breathe, breathe....

Ok, back to Meyer. The biggest problem with that rumor is if he would take the job? You'd make your first higher a big liar liar hypocrate. He just quit florida to spend more time (you know when he is not constantly traveling for tv) with his family. Ask trojans how spitting in NCAA faces by replacing a cheater with another cheater works, ouch!!

Keep in mind this, Kirk Herbstreit moved his family to nashville to be away from crazy buckeye fans. Thats right, he didnt move them to ESPN home turf of bristol conneticut where there is zero cult college football programs with in hours and hours and would make travel easier and has some of the best homes, schools, and communities in America. No he moved his family with in a few hours of a third of the most rabid SEC football fan bases! Could it be his buisness dealings in Nashville with former teammate Eddie George? The year round warmer climate? Could it be the lack of a state income tax and low cost of living? Everyone, even golden boys sell whatever line of crap they think people will buy.

I've been rambling, so let me sumarize...
Trust no one (x files)
Beno Cook is old
And if Bernie Madoff could go 9-1 vs t.u.n.  i'd give him the headset.
I know I might be in the minority, but I usually am. And as long as politicians can sell us a public retirement system and now health system they wont be a part of and religious institutions with histories of harboring terrorists and pedifiles can remain tax exempt, i'm fine in the minority. I'll suggest one thing to always do - keep your head on a swivel, someone somewhere right now is conspiring to screw you. Gotta go, my paranoid yet apathetic support group is about to start and the secure login procedures are redonkulass!! At least if i'm late they dont care.

If you are still reading, thank you, but seek help.   ;)

There is not really a support group, i just didnt have anything to do while Callie was in class tonight. Can you believe someone lives with me? She is a saint!!

Everything changes, oh well....

This thursday night is the NFL draft, I liked it better when it was sat/sun event, but whatever change happens I deal...

My question is more philosophical, like if a tree falls and no one is around does it make a sound?

So here is my draft day conundrum (sp?)

If there is no season next year for players to screw up, can the browns still have a bad draft?!

If anyone could we could, at least we start next yr (maybe) with the bungals whom are starting to remember they are the bungals!!

feeling old today....

My favorite movie ever is still and always will be The Goonies. Maybe if you catch me in this mood or talk about directors or scenes or other stuff I could say Godfather, Reservoir Dogs, Clerks etc etc etc....

But if I'm being truthful and only had time to watch one more movie ever? Come on, truffle shuffle, its our time!, sloth, Data, Mouth, scared Mexican house keepers, nerdy Stephen King look a like as Mikey's dad, hilarious shitty 80's mustang as rich kids cool car! I mean really that car was an escort on a mustang frame and probably went 85mph tops! Oh, and the jeep is an "ORV", because every soccer mom ever had yet to find it cool to drive horribly in her "I own the road and don't care about anyone else" SUV. Anyway, I'm rambling (surprise right?!)...

The point, well go to link and watch video if you want, but Chunk is skinny, bald, maybe gay? (which doesn't bother me), and a lawyer (which does bother me)! How did Chunk go bald and get old and turn to the dark side, YOUR a goonie - outsider, we never say die and I think we are not supposed to say bend over and take it, which is what all lawyers are really saying. Anyway, check it out, oh and if you do - notice the Goonies directors very cool "no fur" button he either wears all the time (doubtful) or he consciously thought - "oh this is going to be all over the net, I need to make social commentary" What a douche!!

Unfortunately, where there is a loose hole, there is a crazy little peg to fill it.....

This was news headline on yahoo...."Gary Busey's 1yr old son hospitalized". I told my boss and she asked what was wrong and I said "besides his father is GARY BUSEY?!"  Seriously, who has sex with him - period! Even with a hasmad suit and a crazy buseyisms to english dictionary, how is he getting in a womans pants?!

I have a Buseyism - Busey (Bum Urinates and Shouts Eratically YATZI)

I love laws that can't be inforced....

Saw this story on the news a couple of days ago and saved it for today - 4/20 - the king fascist himself (Hitler) bday. That's right 4/20 is one of those strange days that shares many an odd bday or anniversary or holiday that don't really go together, but kind of do. The Columbine shootings anniversary, Adolf's bday, and pothead xmas all share today - strange. Those 2 somber anniversaries might even make Nancy Reagan spark a spliff. Anyway...

So a couple of days ago the news said that after 5 years of the national craze that is smoking bans hitting Ohio (yay social fascism!!.... "you get in that bar and do something safe like drink a 5th of jack, but no smoking") this years budget has cut the funds to enforce the law!! That's right its still on the books, but if you call to infringe on some one else's rights..err... I mean report the abuse that happens when you were forced to go in to that privately owned business against your will and had to suffer all that second hand smoke, which totally ruined your fun healthy (4th) yager bomb - they will do nothing because it is not cost effective!! Yay!! Ahh, finally making depression take a positive spin!!  Sadly our new Governor has probably ear marked the funds to shut down gay bars or to curb that pesky little freedom of religion law and get them A-rabs before they get us, but ehh both sides of the isle are fascists of a different type. Its like a pain teeter totter where you just slide from being stabbed on the right and being stabbed on the left. I pledged allegiance to what?

Eddie and the Beacon

I hope he plays 'Middle aged libertarian behind an accoustic guitar in a classic venue....'

Eddie Vedder is going on a short solo tour this summer playing quaint awesome little venues like The Beacon in NYC. Those that know me well are very aware of my love for Pearl Jam and frontman Eddie Vedder, but few know that The Beacon is the top venue on my bucket list for concert going. Really all the places on this summer's tour are cool (detroit being closest sadly to me) and to see Ed solo and 'unplugged' would be super cool. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam/reality/or even dr. Hypocracity have befallen the great grundge leader of the 90's. The tickets before the KY jelly of modern concert going (fees and surcharges) are 70-90 bucks depending on the venue. Maybe ticketmaster made Ed "an offer he couldnt refuse"!! Can't imagine anyones wife enjoying a horsehead in the bed when they woke up. Well, if anyone hits the lottery and needs someone to man the rear view mirror - call me. If not i'm sure I can get the concert on dvd when comes put. Remember money isnt king, but apparently harder to say no to than even PJ can handle. See rerelease of vitogy and vs album last month, not much new or rare for the money, unlike last years reissue of Ten with the unplugged performance. Still best band in world, but greedy just like everyone else who enjoys providing for their famlies.

The people who pass by in a flash

I really ought not watch concerts on tv, it makes me very reflective.... maybe burn out braincells trying to refire?

Anyway, i was just wondering why I (others?) more often think of aquantinces (sp?) rather than my close family and friends? I think about certain people who I may have known for a few months or less and gave me maybe a funny story or memory but nothing else. I wonder where they are, what they became, what is their version of the funny story I tell about them? I'm pretty sure I don't even really care, i'm positive I care way more about the people i've choosen to be close to. So why do I drift occasionally and think... is he as big a F up as I thought he would be? Did they still hold a grudge against me? Many of these questions could probably be found easily, but truth be told I think deep down I like not knowing. Makes it more fun to imagine my own awnsers. I probably project what I fear/dislike/like/wish to change about myself on to their journeys. Hmmm? Or I just shouldnt watch David Gilmore/Pink Floyd shows?  "Just a little pin prick, that'll get you through the show....."

Here's to those things that can make you Comfortably Numb!!

And no, doing laundry is not one, it makes me just bored. Thankfully we all have the vast nothingness of the internet to blah blah our mindless thought phlem into nowhere. Perfect for me, huh?

segment 2 picks

This will be shorter than normal because I feel like turd nuggets and just want to do 4 shots of NyQuil and hope I can sleep walk thru work tomorrow, but here are my picks...

Tejas - 99, Edwards looks back in form he had a few years ago and he dominated at the "cookie cutter" tracks, so hopefully he will do so some more.

Dega - Duh the 88!! Got to get off the string of bad luck at dega and peeps can say what they want, but picking jr at dega is never a bad idea.

Richmond - 18, hope I'm wrong and he gets spun in to wall on lap 1, but if he is gonna disappoint me I might as well get some points out of it.

Darlington - 24, looks like he has some magic back and he is one of the few 'puffs' to have a good time in S Carolina. i know, he's only allegedly a 'puff'!!

That's it, I have no where to go but up!!
