Not really any chance of winning or even making the money this year, but it's ok because we won vs that team up north!!
I'm going to take the space here to shout out to what might be best (direct link) coaching tree in history of football and maybe we should call Earle the Godfather of football coaches? Here is a list of coaches who coached directly for Coach Bruce in his 9 years at THE Ohio State University...
Glen Mason - Off Cord 78-85 - very successful at Minnesota no small feat
Mark Dantonio - GrAsst 83-84 - very successful at MSU, but hopefully not this weekend
Pete Carrol - Sec Cord 1979 - 3 Nat titles at USC (1bcs/2 shared titles (ap)) possible Superbowl this year?
Nick Saban - DB coach 80-81 - 4 BCS Nat titles (1at LSU/3 at Bama) and probably more to come.
Dom Capers - DB coach 82-83 - Successful NFL Head Coach
Jim Tressel - QB coach 83-85 - 1 BCS Nat title (3 BCS title games) and 9-1 vs TUN!!
Urban Meyer - TE coach 86/WR coach 87 - 2 BCS Nat titles - hope more to come! 2-0 so far vs TUN!
So 10 Nat titles, that's pretty impressive, mad props to Coach Bruce!!
